Eug’ene Du Plessis

Originally from South Africa, Eug’ene has been dancing since the age of 3.  After much training and competing and only ten years later, he began to teach dance at his mother’s dance studio in South Africa at the young age of 13.  Five years later, he brought his skills and talent to the United States and has been teaching Ballroom and American Rhythm, competing with

students at competitions, showcases and special events, and choreographing routines for special occasions such as showcases, birthdays, weddings and more for over 16 years.

Matthew Ames

With over 20 years of dance experience and expert training in both classical and more modern styles of dance, Matthew is ranked by Arthur Murray International as one of their top teachers for 4 consecutive years. He has been awarded the prestigious Winner’s Circle Award, given to only the top 3 teachers worldwide each year. Matthew has been immersed in the dance culture for many years, performing with the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company, New York City Ballet, California

University of Pennsylvania, as well as appearing Off-Broadway.  In 2003, he received several awards for acting and dancing in an international acting and modeling competition.  Currently, Matthew is competing in West Coast swing, as well as with a new professional dance partner in American Rhythm.  During his career, Matthew has competed in all 9 American Style dances.
